Vernal Amaro, father of Thomas Amaro, was an agricultural icon. Our family, along with other pioneers secured financing early on to develop and farm over 105,000 acres of farms and packinghouses throughout California, Texas, Louisiana and Australia. This is the lifeblood of our family, and has been since before I can remember.
We worked side-by-side, observing firsthand while actively listening, then doing what was right, always at risk of failure while ultimately being taught respect and humility. We learned to lead by example, and there is no shortcut to hard work. But mostly, always make time to invest in the roots of agriculture that go deep. By creating and understanding fresh food supply chains we are able to develop lasting and sustainable relationships with the people that help to produce our goods. We know that family is the heart of everything, and with this intent, we value every client and team member.
We are experts in sustainable farming with decades of “hands on” experience producing California specialty crops from wine grapes to almonds, and many more. In 2019, Thomas and Marcos Amaro, father and son took a leap and planted hemp with the intent to leverage their legacy by providing high quality, farm-to-face CBD products. It is now our goal to share with the world the benefits of CBD and we look forward to educating our customers, partners, and their patients and clients.

AMARO CBD has collaborated with April Lancaster, our master herbalist with over 20 years of experience crafting natural health & beauty products. We proudly turn raw materials into high-end health & beauty treatments using only organic or food-grade ingredients like essential oils, herbs and extracts, grown on our farm or sourced from other sustainable producers. All of our products are created in “small production runs” of 400 to 500 items per batch, ensuring maximum quality and attention to every detail, from our luxurious products to white porcelain jars that keep them cool and ready to use!
